Head-on crash involving speeding driver proves fatal

Recent head-on collision

According to reports, a head-on crash occurred on a recent Tuesday afternoon when the driver of a southbound car lost control and veered through the median. The car proceeded to enter oncoming lanes of traffic before crashing head-on with a second vehicle. Authorities say that the impact forced the second vehicle to veer off the road and overturn.

Authorities have advised that both drivers suffered fatal harm and died at the scene of the crash. A passenger in the second vehicle was reportedly transported to a medical facility for treatment of severe injuries. Authorities say that an investigation into the incident revealed that speeding appears to have been a contributing factor.
